J&K bundled out for 194

Excelsior Sports Correspondent
JAMMU, Feb 6: Madhya Pradesh pacer Kuldeep Sen starred with his fourth career five-wicket haul as the former champions dismissed Jammu & Kashmir for a modest 194 on the opening day of their Ranji Trophy quarterfinal here today.
The 29-year-old former India ODI player ripped through the J&K top order, finishing with figures of 5/66. Left-arm spinner Kumar Kartikeya added 3/26 to strangle the middle order as J&K were bowled out in just 67 overs.
At stumps, Madhya Pradesh had reduced the deficit by 28 runs without loss, with Harsh Gawli (8*) and Yash Dubey (14*) at the crease. J&K’s innings had been steadied briefly by Shubham Khajuria (60 off 140 balls) and skipper Paras Dogra (33), but a collapse after their departure saw the team bundled out well short of 200.
BRIEF SCORES: J&K 194 all out (Khajuria 60, Dogra 33, Yudhvir Singh 41; Sen 5/66, Kartikeya 3/26, Aryan Pandey 2/27). MP 28/0 (Dubey 14*, Gawli 8*).
