SHIMLA, Feb 6: SJVN achieved a significant milestone as its 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station recorded fastest-ever generation of 2000 Million Units in a financial year, today.
This was informed by Bhupender Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN.
The achievement was accomplished nine days ahead of previous record set on February 14, 2020, marking best generation performance of the Power Station in last eleven years of operation.
On this occasion, SJVN Management congratulated employees and everyone directly and indirectly involved in achieving this milestone.
They expressed gratitude for continued guidance and support of the Government of India and Himachal Pradesh, Ministry of Power, Central Electricity Authority and District administrations of Shimla and Kullu.
Gupta commended discipline and strong work culture of Rampur HPS Team under Head of Project, Vikas Marwah.
Ajay Kumar Sharma, Director (Personnel) attributed the milestone to collective competence, effective human resource practices and seamless inter-departmental coordination.
Sipan Kumar Garg, Director (Finance), SJVN, stated that this record performance demonstrates the synergy between sound financial management and operational excellence.
Since its commissioning, Rampur Hydro Power Station has consistently set new benchmarks in generation performance, reflecting strength of its engineering design, rigorous maintenance regimes and sustained operational excellence.
