JAMMU, Feb 13: Two alleged drug peddlers were arrested with over 21 grams of heroin-like substance in Miran Sahib Area here today.
During naka checking near underpass Ring Road, Miran Sahib, two individuals were stopped for frisking, a police official said.
On their personal search, he said, over 21 grams of heroin-like substance was recovered, he said.
Accordingly, the police official said, the duo, identified as Anil Choudhary of Nari Miran Sahib and Akashjot Singh of Ward number 10, Mill Area, RS Pura, were arrested and booked in case FIR number 21/2026 under sections 8/21/22/29 of the NDPS Act registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation taken up.
Pertinently, the arrested and seizures were made by a team of Police Station Miran Sahib led by Inspector Jatinder Singh under the supervision of SP Headquarters IH Rather.
