NEW DELHI, Feb 13: Young artists of Natrang today performed at the world’s largest international theatre festival at National School of Drama, New Delhi.
The occasion marked the showcasing of Balwant Thakur’s acclaimed play ‘Aap Hamaare Hain Kaun’ which mesmerised audience comprising prominent foreign diplomats, established writers, artists and theatre lovers of Delhi.
A 26 member team of Natrang is in Delhi for its participation in the 25th Bharat Rang Mahotsav, in which plays from across the world are being featured.
The play ‘Aap Hamaare Hain Kaun’ jolts parents, educationists and guardians out of their deep reverie of materialism, consumerism and unbridled ambition.
The play powerfully addressed the contemporary challenges faced by the younger generation, pressures imposed not by enemies but by their own loved ones and immediate surroundings, making it both a mirror to society and a call for introspection and change.
The young artists who performed in the play were Aanandita Dutt, Samaeira Raina, Dwijesh Dutta, Aadhwika Gupta, Mahira Gupta, Anmol Sharma, Advik Sharma, Ruhaan Chandan, Kavish Sharma, Rishaan Marhatta, Suhani Sareen, Priyal Ashok Gupta, Supria Gorka, Aarohi Singh, Aaradhaya Thakur, Sachetas Anand, Araiya Shan and Gautam Bhagat.
Music of the play was composed by Suraj Singh supported by Rakesh Kumar, Neeraj Kant was Production Head, Mohd. Yaseen was Coordinator, costumes and properties of the play were looked after by Pawan Verma and Kananpreet Kaur while Ranbir Thakur was the travel manager of the team.
