UDHAMPUR, Feb 15: A young man committed suicide by hanging himself from ceiling fan hook in his house at village Baryal in Udhampur.
According to the police report, Joginder Kumar (30), son of Sansar Chand, resident of Baryal Udhampur, was found hanging from a ceiling fan hook in his house under mysterious circumstances.
Family members who saw him hanging, immediately called the Police following which a Police team from Udhampur Police Station rushed to the spot and took the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for post-mortem.
Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police have registered the case and started further investigation.
