Ramakrishna Mission organises medical camp

JAMMU, Feb 20: The Ramakrishna Mission Medical Centre here today organized a one-day free diabetes and skin care medical camp at the Mission Hospital in Udheywala.
The camp featured Dr. Jaspreet Singh, Endocrinologist and Dr. Suby Kakkar, Dermatologist & Cosmetologist among other specialists.
The camp provided a comprehensive range of free medical services including consultations with Endocrinologist, Cosmetologist, Gynaecologist, Dental Surgeons, Ophthalmologist, Physicians and Physiotherapist.
A total of 143 patients benefited from the expertise of 11 doctors at this camp. The camp also facilitated 78 blood sugar, 32 uric acid, 33 HB1AC tests at free of cost and 60 patients were benefited with various service including ECG, X-ray, Dental, Physiotherapy, Ultrasound, pathology etc.
A full body check-up covering 65 parameters was also available for a nominal fee of Rs. 1200.
The camp was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Sharma, SP Jammu South.
Swami Yajnadharananda Ji, Secretary Ramakrishna Mission, Jammu, highlighted organization’s commitment to the ideals of Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsa, Maa Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda.
