KATHUA, Feb 21: A delegation of students from Kartar Public School (KPS), Barnoti met with Dr Jitendra Singh, Minister of Science & Technology and Earth Sciences, at his residence in New Delhi today.
The students engaged in a thought-provoking interaction with Dr Singh, discussing a range of topics including emerging career opportunities, innovation pathways, and the vast potential of future start-ups. The insightful conversation was followed by a gracious luncheon, where the students had the opportunity to learn from the Minister’s vast experience.
As a token of respect and gratitude, the school authorities presented Dr Singh with a handmade bouquet, a heartfelt card, and a special souvenir symbolising the Rs 100 commemorative coin for the newly inaugurated Seva Teerth.
KPS expressed sincere appreciation for Dr. Singh’s warm hospitality and for sparing his valuable time to inspire and guide the young minds. In a gesture of goodwill, the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) also presented thoughtful goodies to the students and faculty, featuring special GI-tag commodities as a memorable souvenir from the occasion.
The students of Kartar Public School are currently on a four-day educational tour to Delhi, where they are visiting important destinations to enhance their knowledge and broaden their educational horizons.
