KCIS holds Annual Sports Day

JAMMU, Feb 21: KC International School hosted its much-awaited Annual Sports Meet 2025-26 with great enthusiasm and grandeur on the school premises, celebrating strength, stamina, sportsmanship and the indomitable spirit of its young athletes.
The event was graced by chief guest Mandeep Singh, Professor, Directorate of Physical Education. Other guests present on the occasion included Kuldeep Kumar Gupta, General Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Kabaddi Association; Rajesh Dhar; and Deepak Khajuria. The distinguished gathering also featured Chaitanya Chowdhary, President, KCIS; Aryaman Chowdhary, Member of Management; and Anupama Sinha, Principal.
The programme commenced with a welcome address by Roma Gupta, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the torch by Vice Sports Captain Adhrit Raj Baru. A melodious welcome song and vibrant dance performance set the tone for the day.
The march past by Ruby, Emerald, Topaz and Sapphire Houses, along with NCC Cadets and Bloomings, was a major highlight. Sapphire House won the Best March Past Trophy, while NCC Boys Cadets topped their category. Ruby House emerged as overall champions, with Sapphire House finishing as runner-up.
