JAMMU, Feb 22: The rare manuscript of Rajatarangini by Kalhana, preserved in the Amar Santosh Museum, Udhampur, has brought immense pride to Jammu and Kashmir after being prominently mentioned during the Man Ki Baat programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday.
The manuscript was displayed at the India-AI Impact Summit 2026, inaugurated by the Prime Minister at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

He further emphasized that through modern technological interventions, the invaluable Indian Knowledge System preserved in such manuscripts can now be translated into various Indian and international languages, thereby making India’s rich civilizational heritage accessible to a global audience.
