JAMMU, Feb 22: To celebrate excellence and dedication across diverse spheres of society, the prestigious Duggar De Rattan Awards 2026 organised by the Samvedna Society, was held here today.
The function was held under the leadership of its Chairman Keshav Chopra.
The event recognized the invaluable contributions of individuals from various fields, including senior Dogri artists, singers, choreographers, dancers, outstanding sportspersons, social activists, Jagran committees, influencers, vloggers and self-help groups of women.
Deepak Dubey, Joint Director Information and Brijesh Sharma, Superintendent of Police Jammu Rural, jointly presented the awards to the achievers, appreciating their tireless efforts in promoting culture, art and social development.
Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Dubey said that such platforms inspire individuals to continue serving society with passion and commitment.
He emphasized that honoring grassroots contributors strengthens the cultural fabric of the region and motivates the youth to follow the path of positivity and purpose.
Brijesh Sharma stated that recognizing people from varied walks of life showcases the unity and diversity of Duggar culture.
He also praised the organizers for their consistent role in uplifting local talent and spreading awareness on social issues.
Chairman Keshav Chopra expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, especially Director tourism jammu, guests and participants for their support.
He emphasized the importance of cultural preservation and social responsibility, calling the awardees the true gems of our region.
Among others who attended the event included Gagan Sharma, Vinay Muni, Rajat Sharma, Deepak Kumar, Janashvee, Anju Chopra, Rahul Nargotra, Sourav Gupta, Manoj Tandon, Vikas Kumar, Geeta Sodhi and Abhishek Sharma.
