LEH, Feb 23: A delegation comprising members and representatives of 11 different societies from Ladakh, led by former Chairman, LAHDC Leh, Tashi Gyalson, called on the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, here today.
The delegates apprised the LG about issues faced regarding land allotted to the societies by LAHDC Leh last year for setting up their offices.
They alleged that the Vigilance Office has recently objected to the land allotment and requested regularisation and confirmation to enable them to render services efficiently for societal benefit.
The LG Kavinder Gupta gave a patient hearing and assured to look into the matter.
