UP: Traditional offerings sent from Kashi Vishwanath Temple to Shri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura for Holi

VARANASI, Feb 23: On the auspicious occasion of Holi, traditional offerings and abir-gulal were sent from the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, the sacred abode of Lord Shri Vishweshwar, to Lord Shri Laddu Gopal, seated at the Shri Krishna Janmasthan in Mathura.
This event is a living symbol of the cultural and spiritual unity of Kashi and Braj.
On this occasion, wooden toys, chocolates, new clothes, gulal, flowers, and other worship materials were included for Laddu Gopal. All the offerings were decorated with utmost devotion and rituals.
The temple’s Deputy Collector, Chief Executive Officer and scholars placed the offerings in the temple trust’s flower-decorated vehicle and departed amid the sound of drums and conch shells and chants of “Har Har Mahadev.”
The devotees present also participated in this sacred moment with joy and enthusiasm.
This ancient tradition further strengthens the deep religious ties between Kashi and Braj and conveys a message of unity, devotion, and festivity to all the nation. This cultural exchange, on a festival of joy and harmony like Holi, further strengthens spiritual harmony.
