JAMMU, Feb 24: In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at streamlining the functioning of the Public Works (R&B) Department and filling long-pending vacancies in the engineering hierarchy, Government has placed 25 Assistant Executive Engineers as In-charge Executive Engineers and ordered a series of transfers and adjustments in the department.
As per a Government Order issued today by the General Administration Department, Incharge (I/c) AEEs (Civil) Rohit Puri, Yasir Faiq Jan, Mahesh Sharma, Raman Kumar, Mohd Iqbal Ganie, Gh Mohd Sheikh, Rohit Gupta, Bikram Paul Singh Blouria, Nissar Ahmad Wani, Syed Yawar Mehdi, Mohd Ashraf Khan, Jagmohan, Mohammad Waseem, Sheikh Qaiser Farooq, Shahid Saleem Lone, Krishan Gopal, Zubair Ahmad Dar, Sheikh Suhail Rashid (all degree holders) and Vinod Kumar, Kuldeep Raj, Sham Lal, Vasihno Prakash, Rakesh Kumar, Madan Gopal Samyal and Bishan Dass (all diploma holders) have been placed as I/c XENs in their own pay and grade.
Consequently, Rohit Puri has been posted in PW(R&B) Division Rajouri, Yasir Faiz Jan in R&B Division Bemina, Mahesh Sharma in R&B Division Kalakote, Raman Kumar in R&B Division Chenani, Mohd Iqbal Ganie in R&B Banihal, Gh mohd Sheikh in PMGSY Division Ramban, Rohit Gupta in R&B Division Kathua, Bikram Paul in R&B Division Chatroo, Nissar Ahmad in R&B Division Qazigund, Syed Yawar Mehdi in R&B Division Chadoora, Mohd Ashraf Khan in R&B Division Dooru, Jagmohan in R&B Division RS Pora, Mohd Waseem in R&B Division Anantnag, Sheikh Qaiser Farooq in R&B Division Kangan, Shahid Saleem Lone in R&B Division Bandipora, Krishan Gopal in Economic Reconstruction Agency, Zubair Ahmad in R&B Division Budgam, Sheikh Suhail in R&B Division Soura, Vinod Kumar in R&B Division Bhanderwah, Kuldeep Raj in JDA, Sham Lal in R&B Division Thathri, Vaishno Prakash in DIQC, Rakesh Kumar in R&B Division Samba, Madan Gopal in R&B Division Thanamandi and Bishan Dass in R&B Division Mahore.
Meanwhile, Zaheer Ahmed has been transferred from R&B Division Kalakote and posted as I/c XEN PMGSY with additional charge of R&B Division poonch. Khalid Amin Qureshi I/c XEN has been shifted from PMGSY Division Poonch and posted as I/c XEN DIQC. Nawaz Ahmad Bandy has been transferred R&B Division Banihal to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, while Gurmeet Singh has been posted as I/c XEN PMGSY Division Kathua.
Varinder Pal Singh (Technical Officer to CE PMGSY Jammu) has been moved to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Kuldeep kumar has been transferred from R&B Division Khour to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Amit Sharma has been shifted from R&B Division Chatroo and posted as I/c XEN University of Jammu and Gopal Krishan Sharma has been transferred from JDA to the Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.
Ab Qayoom dar has been transferred from R&B Division Chadoora and posted as I/c XEN in R&B Division Karan Nagar, Vijay Kumar has been shifted from R&B Division Samba to DIQC Jammu, Mohd Sajjad Khan has been transferred from R&B Division Thanamandi to DIQC Jammu, Shams Din has been moved from R&B Division Thathri to R&B Division Kishtwar whereas Lyakat Ali has been repatriated from Rural Development Department and posted as I/c XEN R&B Division Surankote.
Nasir Anjum, I/c XEN R&B Project Division-I Srinagar shall hold additional charge of PMGSY Division Budgam. Sanjeev Sharma, I/c XEN R&B Division Akhnoor has been asked to hold additional charge of R&B Division Khour while Rahat Gupta, I/c XEN R&B Division-III Jammu shall hold additional charge of Technical Officer to Chief Engineer PMGSY Jammu and Anil Kumar Mehra, I/c XEN R&B Division Doda has been assigned additional charge of SEN PMGSY Division Doda.
