JAMMU, Feb 24: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander Northern Command today visited Kishtwar following the successful conduct of ‘Operation TRASHI-I’, which led to the elimination of three Pakistan sponsored terrorists in the region.

The Army Commander was briefed by senior field commanders on the operational details and the coordinated efforts undertaken by security forces during the mission.
He commended the troops for their swift, precise and well-coordinated action that ensured the successful execution of the operation.
General Sharma lauded the professionalism, commitment and steadfast resolve of the personnel deployed in challenging terrain and adverse conditions.
He reiterated Indian Army’s firm commitment to maintain peace and stability in J&K and to ensure a secure environment for its citizens.
The Army Commander emphasized the importance of sustained vigilance and synergy among security agencies to effectively counter any attempts to disrupt peace in the region.
“The successful conduct of ‘Operation TRASHI-I’ stands as a testament to the operational preparedness and unwavering dedication of Indian Army towards safeguarding national security and promoting a terror-free J&K,” he maintained.
