JAMMU, Feb 24: A one-day free multispecialty medical camp was organized by SIBA Co-operative at the Crime Branch Headquarters here today for the benefit of officers and officials with the objective of promoting health awareness and ensuring timely medical care for police personnel working under stressful conditions.
The camp was inaugurated by Inspector General of Police, Crime J&K, Sujit Kumar Singh, who was accompanied by SSP Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu Faisal Qureshi, SSP SCW Jammu Sanjay Parihar, SSP CICE J&K Ramnish Gupta, SSP ANTF Jammu Anwar-Ul-Haq, Additional SP FPB Jammu Noor-ul-Hassan and SO to IGP Crime Mohd Shafi.
All senior officers along with their staff members actively participated in the camp and availed the facility of medical examination. Around 450 police personnel of Crime Branch Jammu underwent detailed health screening by a team of specialists. The services included neuro and spine consultation, orthopaedic check-up, eye screening, physiotherapy, hearing assessment and general medical examination such as blood pressure and blood sugar tests.
The medical team deputed by SIBA comprised Dr Vikas Heer, Surgical Oncologist; Dr Narain Khatri, Orthopaedic Surgeon; Dr Mahendar Pal, Neuro Spine Surgeon; Dr Mehvish Malik, Eye Specialist; Dr Prakriti Sharma, Hair Transplant Surgeon; Dr Khushnuma Shah, Dentist and Dermatology expert; Dr Muzaffar Hussain, Sports Physiotherapist; and Dr Sarandeep Singh, Hearing Specialist. The camp was coordinated by SIBA Co-founders Sidharth Verma and Baljeet Singh along with team members Meenakshi Verma and Jasmeet Kour.
The programme was organized in association with Amandeep Hospital, JK Medicity, Goel Eye Clinic & Retina Centre, Apollo Aesthetics, The Hearing Clinic and Derma Wave, whose doctors provided consultations and health screenings.
