JAMMU, Feb 25: GGM Science College lifted the Overall Championship trophy in the Powerlifting (Men & Women) Inter-Collegiate Competition for the 2025–26 session, delivering a dominant performance at A-3 Gym, Channi Rama.
The college secured the Men’s Overall Championship with 24 points, winning three Gold and three Silver medals. Honey Sharma clinched Gold in the 74 kg category, Vaibhav Thakur secured Gold in 93 kg and added a silver, Kanav Dogra bagged Gold in 120 kg, Yash Dev Singh won Silver in 66 kg and Mohd. Irfan earned Silver in the 93+ kg category. In the Women’s Section, Nabiha Fatima strengthened the tally with a Gold medal in the 57 kg category.
