SAMBA, Feb 25: Pranav Sambyal from Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir has achieved a significant milestone by earning the prestigious National Shooting Judge License in both Rifle and Pistol events from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI).
The National Judges Course was conducted from February 21 to 25 under the expert guidance of course instructors Dhiraj Kumar Singh and Arun Waresi, associated with the International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF). The intensive program focused on technical rules, fair officiating standards and international judging protocols.
Pranav Sambyal was among only 30 candidates selected from across India, making his selection a matter of great pride for the region. His successful licensing in both Rifle and Pistol categories reflects his dedication, discipline and deep understanding of the sport.
Formerly an elite and renowned shooter, Pranav has represented Jammu and Kashmir at various prestigious platforms including National Championships, Khelo India Games and India Squad Trials. His transition from an accomplished athlete to a licensed National Judge marks a new chapter in his sporting journey.
