JAMMU, Feb 28: Two IAS officers of AGMUT cadre were today empanelled as Secretary Equivalent and two others as Additional Secretary Equivalent.
The Appointments Committee of Cabinet (ACC) has approved empanelment of 41 IAS officers as Secretary Equivalent.
They include Rohit Kansal of AGMUT and erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre and H Rajesh Prasad of AGMUT cadre, who has also served in Jammu and Kashmir.

Kansal, an IAS officer of 1995 batch has been empanelled as Secretary/Secretary Equivalent while Prasad of the same batch has been empanelled as Secretary Equivalent.
Kansal has held several prestigious postings in Jammu and Kashmir including Administrative Secretary Power, Additional CEO Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board etc.
Mandeep K Bhandari, Principal Secretary to Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha and 2001 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre has been empanelled as Additional Secretary/Additional Secretary Equivalent while Sarita Chauhan Chand of 1999 batch of AGMUT cadre has been empanelled as Additional Secretary Equivalent.
Both Bhandari and Chauhan are erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir cadre officers.
A total of 28 IAS officers were empanelled as Additional Secretary Equivalent.
