RAJOURI, Mar 3: A CRPF personnel sustained bullet injury in an accidental firing incident at Bharavo Gate, in Tandwal area of Rajouri district.
As per official sources, Ram Niwas (40 years), son of Sukhdev Ram, a resident of Sikar, Rajasthan, presently posted with 237 Battalion CRPF at Bharavo Gate Tandwal, suffered a bullet injury from his personal service weapon due to accidental self-mishandling.
The injured personnel was immediately provided medical assistance and shifted to a nearby medical facility for treatment. His condition is reported to be stable.
