JAMMU, Mar 3: The Indian Body Builders Federation (IBBF) has announced the selection trial for the prestigious 17th Senior Men’s & Women’s Bodybuilding Championship 2026, scheduled to be held from March 28 to 29 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The national championship will take place at Crown Palace Hotel, South Tukoganj on 28th March and at the Basketball Complex, Race Course Road on 29th March. Organized by Rajya Sharir Saushthav Sanstha under the aegis of IBBF, the event will feature top athletes from across India.
To select the team representing Jammu & Kashmir, the selection trial will be held on Sunday, March 8 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at International Gym. Eligible bodybuilders and physique athletes from across the Union Territory are invited to participate in various weight and category divisions. Participants must report on time with proper competition attire, valid Government-issued identification, and completed registration formalities.
The selection will follow strict IBBF rules to ensure fairness and transparency. Athletes qualifying at the national level will also have opportunities to compete in the South Asia Bodybuilding Championship, Asian Bodybuilding Championship, and World Bodybuilding Championship.
