JAMMU, Mar 3: Shaurya International School celebrated its Annual Day 2025 with great enthusiasm under the inspiring theme “Oorja: Sowing Tomorrow”. The event was graced by chief guest Harvinder Singh, Director of Employment, Jammu and Kashmir, along with dignitaries including Harinder Mahajan, Chairman, Shaurya Educational Society; Sahil Mahajan, Vice-Chairman and Trustees Uma Gupta, Kusum Gupta, Pooja Mahajan, Miho Mahajan and Shaurya Mahajan.
The celebrations began with the ceremonial lighting of the traditional lamp, performed by the chief guest along with Chairman Harinder Mahajan, Vice-Chairman Sahil Mahajan and Principal Dr Swati Kapoor, marking the auspicious start of the event. Junior House Captain Shivanya Bhagat delivered the welcome speech, followed by an address by Principal Dr Swati Kapoor, who highlighted the school’s achievements and emphasized the importance of holistic development.
The cultural programme stole the show with vibrant dance performances and a school band performance, showcasing the talents of young learners. The young achievers were felicitated amid applause from parents and teachers.
Addressing the gathering, chief guest Harvinder Singh appreciated the confidence and energy of the Nursery to Class III students and encouraged them to dream big and become responsible citizens. Chairman Harinder Mahajan lauded the students’ talent and the school’s efforts in nurturing strong foundations, while Vice-Chairman Sahil Mahajan highlighted the importance of collaboration among students, parents, and teachers for all-round development.
The programme concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Junior Head Girl Aanya Bhagat, followed by the School Song, marking a memorable and inspiring celebration of learning, talent, and achievement.
