RAJOURI, Mar 3: Vehicular movement on the Jammu-Rajouri-Poonch National Highway was temporarily affected on Tuesday after a truck loaded with bricks overturned and caught fire near Lamberi in the Nowshera area of Rajouri district.
According to reports, the incident occurred when the driver reportedly lost control on the vehicle, causing it to turn turtle on the highway. Soon after the accident, the truck caught fire, leading to brief disruption of traffic movement along the busy stretch of the highway. Local police and emergency services promptly reached the spot and initiated necessary measures to control the situation.
No loss of life have been reported in the incident. Authorities have taken cognizance of the matter and further investigation is underway.
