JAMMU, Mar 3: Unique International Public School, Gadigarh inaugurated its newly constructed Skating Rink amid enthusiasm and celebration on the school campus today. The initiative marks a significant step towards strengthening sports infrastructure and promoting holistic development among students.
The ceremony was graced by chief guest Randheer Singh, SSP CID, Jammu, who lauded the school management for encouraging sports alongside academics. Addressing the gathering, he urged students to actively participate in sports to develop discipline, confidence and physical fitness.
Among the distinguished guests of honour were Prithipal Singh, a noted sports personality in Roller Skating; Kamal Anand, General Secretary, Jammu & Kashmir Roller Sports Association and Jatin Sabarwal, Under Secretary, Department of Law, Justice & Parliamentary Affairs, Asian Games Silver Medalist and Sher-e-Kashmir Awardee. A Special Motivator from the University of Jammu also addressed the students and inspired them to pursue excellence.
The programme featured ribbon cutting, bouquet presentations and a colourful welcome performance by students. Parents attended in large numbers and appreciated the school’s initiative. Chairman Jasbir Singh presented the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries and participants.
