Jammu, Mar 6: A camp under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Aushadhi Yojana was organized today at Government Hospital Sarwal Jammu.
The camp was inaugurated by Director Health Services Jammu Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar in the presence of C.M.O Jammu Dr. Harbakash Singh, State Nodal officer of Jan Aushadhi Kendra Rifat Nazir, and Medical superintendent Dr Sunil Kailu.
During the camp, OPD services in the Departments of Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, and Dental were conducted. The services were provided by Dr. Manjusha Bajaj, Dr. Kapil Padha, and Dr. Ritu Kotwal, along with the support of paramedical staff.
A total of 163 patients were examined during the camp and received free consultation and free medicines from Jan aushadhi and the Hospital supply Medicines that were not available in the hospital pharmacy were arranged from the Jan Aushadhi Kendra of the hospital free of the cost.
Free diagnostic services were also made available to the patients during the camp.
