JAMMU, Mar 10: Gaurav Gupta, BJP spokesperson today strongly condemned Rahul Gandhi, Leader of Opposition, for allegedly orchestrating and endorsing the topless protest by Youth Congress workers during the World AI Summit.
In a statement issued, Gupta cited Gandhi’s remark, “AI Summit ka naam suna hai? Kar diya Kaam Youth Congress walon ne,” as proof of his involvement.
He accused Gandhi of glorifying an act that embarrassed India internationally, calling it a “pre-planned political stunt” to defame the country.
“The remark clearly demonstrates that Rahul Gandhi took pride in the shameful topless protest staged by Youth Congress activists, which attempted to embarrass India in front of foreign delegates attending the prestigious international summit,” he said
The BJP leader alleged that Congress has repeatedly undermined India’s reputation at international forums and claimed such politics won’t hinder India’s progress under Narendra Modi’s leadership. “India’s global stature cannot be derailed by Gandhi’s desperate actions,” Gupta said.
“India’s global stature and progress cannot be derailed by the desperate and irresponsible actions of Rahul Gandhi and his party,” he said.
