Srinagar, Mar 11: The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has nominated a team of senior officers to assist the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, in coordination and logistical arrangements for the successful conduct of the BIMSTEC AML/CFT Conference.
According to Government Order No. 311-JK(GAD) of 2026 dated March 11, issued by the General Administration Department, sanction has been accorded to the nomination of three officers to facilitate coordination, logistical arrangements and other preparatory activities related to the conference.
The nominated officers include Shailendra Kumar, IAS, Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Finance Department; Shahid Iqbal Choudhary, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Youth Services & Sports Department; and Faz Lul Haseeb, IAS, Commissioner, Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
