JAMMU, Mar 12: Senior leaders of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, released a devotional Bhajan titled “Mindal Wali Mata Ki Mahima” under the banner of Maa Bawe Wali Records at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here, today.
The Bhajan was released by J&K BJP general secretaries, Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, along with Media in charge, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, All Cells in charge, Ved Sharma, Library in charge, Prof. Kulbhushan Mohtra, and other senior party leaders in a programme organized by BJP co-convenor of the Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell, Sahil Mahajan.
The Bhajan has been sung by Sandhya Sharma, composed by Dr. V. Kaith, with lyrics written by Sonu (Vikrant), while the video has been produced by K K Malhotra. The song has been released under the label of the Sandhya Sharma YouTube Channel.
Releasing the Bhajan, Baldev Singh Billawaria appreciated the efforts of the artists and organizers for promoting devotional music rooted in the cultural and spiritual traditions of Jammu & Kashmir. He said that such initiatives play an important role in preserving the rich heritage of the region and strengthening the spiritual bond of society with revered shrines and deities.
Speaking on the occasion, Gopal Mahajan said that devotional music has always been an integral part of Indian culture and serves as a medium to connect people with their faith and values. He lauded the efforts of the BJP’s Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell for encouraging local talent and providing them with a platform to showcase their creativity.
Dr. Pardeep Mahotra emphasized the importance of promoting cultural and devotional content through modern digital platforms. He said that such productions help spread positive messages of faith, devotion, and cultural pride among the younger generation.
Ved Sharma praised the efforts of singer and the whole team in bringing up the Bhajan. He stated that music dedicated to divine powers strengthens social harmony and inspires people to remain connected with their traditions.
Sahil Mahajan said that the Sanskriti, Art & Culture Cell remains committed to promoting artistic and cultural expressions of Jammu.
Singer Sandhya Sharma expressed gratitude to the BJP leadership and said it was a matter of immense pride for her to sing a devotional song dedicated to Mindal Wali Mata.
