JAMMU: The Government on Thursday promoted 24 Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS).
“Sanction is accorded to the promotion of 24 Junior Scale officers to the Time Scale of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service in pay level 11 (67700-208700), with effect from January 1, 2026, on notional basis and on regular basis prospectively,” reads an order issued by M. Raju, Commissioner/Secretary, General Administration Department
As per order, the promoted officers included Mohammad Zubair Lattoo, Narinder Kumar, Muazzam Ali, Priya Lakshmi, Mohd. Azhar Lone, Indu Jamwal, Wakeel Ahmed Batt, Asiya Nazir, Rashi Dutta, Akanksha Kalsotra, Preeti Sharma, Farukh Nasir Paul, Muneeb Umar, Bhumika Sharma, Parveez Ahmad Bhat, Saniya Malik, Aamir Ayaiz Rather, Mamta Rajput, Kewal Krishan Sharma, Shafqet Ali, Kanchan Bala, Abdul Rashid Raina, Mohd Raiyaz, and Mohammad Yousf Ganaie.
Following the promotions, Wakeel Ahmed Batt and Farukh Nasir Paul have been designated as Deputy Secretaries in their respective departments, while the remaining officers will continue in their current postings until further orders.
