SAMBA, Mar 12: St. Stephen’s Convent School, Sukhani Talab, Sarore in district Samba celebrated its Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm at the school campus.
Students actively participated in various fun-filled events including zig-zag race, banana eating challenge, balloon bursting game, cone balancing game, frog race, sack race, lemon race, three-legged race and push-up boxing. The participants displayed great energy, coordination and sportsmanship during the competitions.
The Principal congratulated the students for their enthusiastic participation and encouraged them to maintain a healthy balance between academics and sports. Winners were awarded medals and certificates during the prize distribution ceremony.
Meanwhile, two students of the school, Dhruv Kumar (Class V) and Sparsh Sharma (Class VI), won gold medals in the 1st Freestyle Kickboxing National Championship 2026 held in Jaipur, Rajasthan recently.
