JAMMU, Mar 14: Amar Chand Gupta has been unanimously elected as the new president of the Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable (SVMMC) Hospital, Ambphalla, Jammu, during a meeting of the management committee convened on Saturday.
During the meeting, BB Gupta, a member of the management committee, formally proposed the name of Amar Chand Gupta for the presidentship of the Mission. The proposal was seconded by Romesh Chander Gupta, also a member of the committee.
The proposal received unanimous support from all the members present in the meeting, following which Amar Chand Gupta was unanimously elected as the president of the Swami Vivekananda Medical Mission Charitable Hospital, Ambphalla, Jammu.
The meeting was attended by several members of the management committee, including Dr Subash Gupta, BB Gupta, BS Jamwal, Dr Satya Dev Gupta, Subhash Gupta (Retired Principal District & Sessions Judge), Romesh Chander Gupta, Shanker Dutt Sharma, SL Suri, Neeraj Puri, Dr Jatinder Gupta, Dr Brij Mohan Gupta, Dharamvir Chopra, Dr Sachin Gupta and Surinder Mohan Gupta.
Speaking on the occasion, Amar Chand Gupta assured members that he will work with full dedication and in close coordination with all members of the management committee to further strengthen the services of the Hospital and expand its outreach. He also emphasized the importance of continuing the noble legacy and vision of late Anil Gupta, former president.
