New Delhi, Mar 16: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the extension of deputation tenure of S. Suresh, IPS officer, as Additional Director General in the Special Protection Group.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training reads, The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Office of Secretary (Security), Cabinet Secretariat for extension of deputation tenure of Shri S. Suresh, IPS (KL:95), ADG, SPG for a period from 09.03.2026 to 31.12.2026.
He continuing the period of upgradation of the corresponding post of IG to the level of ADG, as a measure personal to the officer, in relaxation of IPS Tenure Policy, it reads.
