JAMMU, Mar 16: Fulfilling a long pending demand of the local residents, MLA Bahu Ch Vikram Randhawa today started the construction work of lanes and drains in Ward No. 51 of Channi Himmat.
The development work is being executed under the Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) and aims to strengthen basic infrastructure and improve drainage facilities in the area.
While addressing the gathering, the MLA said that development of proper lanes and drainage systems is essential for ensuring better living conditions for the people.
He directed the concerned officials of JMC to maintain high quality standards and ensure the timely completion of the project so that the residents receive maximum benefit at the earliest.
Randhawa reiterated his commitment towards the overall development of the constituency and assured the residents that all genuine public issues and pending works will be taken up on priority.
Kulveer Charak was also present on the occasion.
