JAMMU, Mar 16: J&K BJP Minority Morcha president Ranjodh Singh Nalwa today called upon minorities to strengthen the hands of the Prime Minister and stated that it is only Narendra Modi, who has taken pain in the development of underprivileged and launched numerous schemes to pull them out of poverty & difficult times.
While chairing a meeting at Vijaypur, Nalwa said, “Just think a while how important it is to strengthen the hands of PM Modi. If we do so, our country will grow from strength to strength, and minorities will get their rights.”
He said, “The PM has a great love & respect for the country’s minorities and has taken several steps to make sure that they don’t feel ignored or suppressed as they used to during the erstwhile Congress governments.”
“However, there are some people who try to turn minorities against BJP through fake narratives,” he said and requested the party cadres to counter such elements.
“BJP’s work for minorities is in front of all to see while Congress has always ignored them and worked against their genuine interests,” Nalwa added.
He spoke in detail about the SIR exercise, urging the authorities concerned to weed out infiltrators.
The BJP leader also expressed concern over some people who were registered as voters in the districts they originally belong to but were also casting their votes in Jammu constituencies.
“Such voters need to be identified and allowed to exercise their franchise only from one constituency,” he demanded.
Vijaypur MLA ChanderPrakash Ganga in his address also appealed to the gathering to apprise people of the central schemes launched by the NDA government for their welfare.
He termed workers as backbone of the party and called upon them to not miss even a single opportunity, that comes their way, to further strengthen BJP at the grassroots level.
Among others who were present on the occasion included Tarsem Singh, Shilpa Dubey, Jasmeet Pandey, Joginder Singh, Jagtar Singh, Salakhan Singh, Sansar Singh, Surjeet Singh, Sukhdev Singh, Karanjit Singh, Narinder Pal Singh, Nishan Singh, Faqir Singh, Darshan Singh and Lakhwinder Singh.
