SBI inaugurates renovated full-service branch in Akhnoor

JAMMU, Mar 16: The State Bank of India (SBI) today inaugurated its newly renovated full-service branch in Akhnoor town, aimed at strengthening banking services and expanding customer outreach in the region.
The branch was formally inaugurated by Chief General Manager (CGM), Chandigarh Circle, Krishan Sharma in the presence of Deputy General Manager (B&O) Jammu Module Jayant Mani, Regional Manager RBO-2 Jammu Ajay Singh Kamdi, Chief Manager Akhnoor Branch Sunny Bhat, along with other senior bank officials, Army and BSF officers and customers.
The renovated branch has been equipped with modern infrastructure including digital banking kiosks, safe deposit lockers, a dedicated floor coordinator and a customer lounge. It will provide a wide range of banking services such as savings and current accounts, home, personal, business, vehicle, SME and agriculture loans, deposits and digital banking facilities including mobile banking, internet banking and UPI, besides priority banking services for high-net-worth customers.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma said the renovated branch reflects SBI’s commitment to meeting the growing financial needs of individuals, families and businesses in J&K while ensuring seamless, innovative and reliable banking services.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks presented by Ajay Singh Kamdi, Regional Manager SBI.
