JAMMU, Mar 16: In order to dicuss their issues, Team TNWS held an emergency review meeting here today.
The meet was held under the presidentship of Rajinder P Kakkar, president, Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS), during which the members raised various issues.
The members expressed concern over slow speed of digging the side lanes by the PDD contractor, which is causing harrasment to the locals during the rainy day, many car owner got damage to their cars as the concerned authorities didn’t full fill the digging lanes properly neither refixed the tiles in proper manners.
They raised the issue of scarcity of the drinking water supply in sector 5 to 9, Ward 54 of Trikuta Nagar, which is not sufficient.
The team TNWS raised the demand for New Tube well in sector 8 Ward 54 Trikuta Nagar since last three years and submitted the demand with almost every higher authorities of the Government, but sorry to say that every time they got assurance from the authorities.
They also raised the issue of vacant land of six kanals in the Main Market Trikuta Nagar, which has become the most polluted spot in the Trikuta Nagar, as there are mountains of garbage.
They said, “While the team TNWS Jammu raised this issue with Commissioner JMC, VC JDA, the chairman of Pollution Control Committee and MLA Bahu constituency, but nothing has been noticed in this problem on the ground.”
We the residents demand for development of this ground for the benifit of general public of Trikuta Nagar Jammu.
Among others who attended the meet included Vijay Gupta, Ashish Jain, Dr Sham Gupta, S L Verma, Dr Varinder Sharma, Krishan Lal, Ashok Kumar Arora, Kewal Sher and O P Sharma.
