JAMMU, Mar 17: An organisational meeting of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) district Akhnoor was held on Tuesday under the presidentship of district president, Kuldeep Banotra.
The meeting was addressed by BJP J&K UT vice president, Rekha Mahajan as the main speaker. MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat, former MLA Rajeev Sharma, former DDC Vice Chairman, Suraj Singh and former DDC Member, Bhushan Bral, along with a large number of party activists and local leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Rekha Mahajan emphasized the importance of strengthening the organization at the grassroots level and maintaining close contact with the people. She said that dedicated workers are the backbone of the party and their commitment plays a crucial role in implementing the party’s vision and policies among the masses.
Mahajan urged party workers to actively engage with people in their respective areas and ensure that the benefits of Government welfare schemes reach every section of society.
Mohan Lal Bhagat stated that the party’s policies and programmes are focused on the welfare and empowerment of the common people. He called upon party workers to act as a bridge between the Government and the public so that people’s issues can be addressed effectively. “The role of party workers is vital in communicating Government initiatives to the grassroots level and ensuring that the benefits reach the deserving sections,” he added.
Former MLA, Rajeev Sharma shared his views during the meeting and appreciated the dedication of party workers in strengthening the organisation. He said that the BJP has always believed in collective leadership and teamwork, which has helped the party expand its base across the region.
District president, Kuldeep Banotra, while presiding over the meeting, complimented the senior leaders and party workers for their active participation and reiterated the party’s commitment to organisational growth and public service. The meeting concluded with discussions on strengthening the party structure and enhancing outreach among the people of the region.
