JAMMU, Mar 17: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of White Knight Corps, Lieutenant General P K Mishra, visited forward areas in the Akhnoor sector to review operational preparedness along the Line of Control.
Accompanied by the GOC of Crossed Swords Division, he interacted with troops deployed on the LoC and took stock of measures taken to strengthen defences and improve operational effectiveness.
Senior officers briefed him on the latest security developments and strategies to maintain a strong security grid in the area.
The GOC appreciated the troops for their high morale, professionalism and dedication in difficult conditions, and stressed the need for constant vigilance along the sensitive border to ensure a secure and robust frontier.
