JAMMU, Mar 17: The Maha Ganesh Asthapan Committee (MGAC), Brantal, Sirru, Pattan, Baramulla, held a meeting to plan the vital issues like reconstruction of the temple and Sarai at the Asthapan premises in the Valley, besides planning solemnization of its annual Yagya.
The members resolved to host the grand Yagya on April 29-30 (Ganesh Chaturdeshi) at Durga Mandir, Durga Nagar, Jammu, uniting the community in devotion and renewal.
To ensure seamless execution, the Committee approved a fundraising drive, committing Rs 2,000 per family toward the event’s organization.
The members constituted a committee to pursue the case with the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla etc.
Attendees at the meeting included PL Pandita, Rattan Lal Dhar, Hriday Nath Bhat, Bhushan Lal Koul, Sohan Lal Bhat, Kiran Ji Koul, Dr. Ravinder Pandita, Maharaj Krishan Pandita, and Rajesh Dhar. Rajinder Koul, Pawan Pandita and Ashish Koul participated via video conference.
