JAMMU, Mar 18: Jammu & Kashmir Bank today renewed its Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board to strengthen their long-standing partnership and enhance banking services for the Board and its employees.
The agreement was signed by Cluster Head Amit Bargotra on behalf of the Bank and Additional CEO Alok Kumar Maurya for the Shrine Board in the presence of Bank’s General Manager & Divisional Head (Jammu) Ashok Gupta, FA/CAO SMVDSB Pawan Kumar Sharma, DGM SMVDSB Rajesh Sharma and Branch Managers Samresh Salgotra and Kapil Nanda.
A statement said the renewed MoU reaffirms the Bank as the preferred banking partner of the Shrine Board, which will continue to maintain its accounts and deposits with the Bank.
It also aims to provide improved and customized financial services to employees, ensuring smoother banking access and better service delivery, it said.
Speaking on the occasion, Alok Kumar Maurya described the Bank as a reliable partner and said the agreement would expand benefits for employees through tailored financial solutions.
Ashok Gupta, General Manager and Divisional Head (Jammu), said the renewal reflects the strong trust between the two institutions and the Bank’s commitment to providing modern, customer-friendly banking services.
Under the agreement, employees of the Shrine Board will get specially designed salary accounts with zero balance facility, free international debit cards, and access to digital banking services including mobile and internet banking.
They will also be covered under Group Personal Accidental Insurance and will be eligible for concessional loans with simplified procedures and higher limits.
The Bank will also offer competitive rates on the Board’s deposits and ensure efficient service delivery through better coordination and digital integration.
