JAMMU, Mar 18: The Rainawari KP Action Committee (RKPAC) today announced election of Prof. Tito Ganjoo as president of the Jogishwari Mandir Trust. Prof Ganjoo and his team were elected unopposed to the Committee the elections of which were held today under the chairmanship of Rajinder Mohan Ticku.
The newly elected Executive Body, serving a five-year term besides, President, Prof.Tito Ganjoo, included vice president, Ravinder Koul, general secretary, Krishen Ji Bhat, treasurer, Chushool Mahaldar and publicity secretary Dilip Handoo.
B.L. Jalali, president of the RKPAC, emphasized that this unanimous / uncontested mandate reflects the community’s trust in Prof. Ganjoo’s ability to safeguard its interests. He said the Jogishwari Mandir Trust manages invaluable spiritual sites, including the ancient temple at Ghat Jogilanker (Rainawari) and Gopi Tirath (Nishat), with immovable assets valued at about over Rs. 100 crore.
Under Prof. Ganjoo’s leadership, the Trust aims to continue its mission of preserving these historical landmarks while engaging the younger generation in the community’s rich religious and cultural narrative, said .B.L. Jalali.
