JAMMU, Mar 20: In order to review programmes, aims to strengthen grassroots network across J&K, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha, convened an important organizational meeting, here today.
The meeting was held under the leadership of its president Neha Mahajan and was chaired by BJP J&K president and Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sat Sharma.
Senior party leaders including Sanjita Dogra, Gopal Mahajan, Reema Padha, Prabhat Singh, Poonam Gupta, Neeru Anand, Aarti Sharma and Chakshu Kapoor were also present.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma highlighted the importance of regular organizational reviews and strategic planning.

He stated that a detailed assessment of outreach programmes, awareness campaigns, and initiatives, particularly in light of recent budget announcements, demonstrates the party’s commitment to effective governance and public engagement.
Sharma emphasized that constructive feedback and collective inputs are crucial for refining future programmes and ensuring their effective implementation on the ground.
He urged Mahila Morcha members to actively participate in ongoing training initiatives and imbibe the party’s core values, translating them into meaningful grassroots service.
Sanjita Dogra, in her address said that the Mahila Morcha has consistently played a significant role in connecting with women at the grassroots level through structured outreach and awareness campaigns.
She noted that reviewing past programmes offers an opportunity to enhance coordination and improve execution, ensuring that benefits reach the intended sections effectively.
Gopal Mahajan stressed the need for a strong and dynamic organizational structure, adding that clarity in upcoming programmes and a shared vision among Morcha activists would yield better results.
Earlier, Neha Mahajan presented a detailed report on the Mahila Morcha’s activities in recent months.
She reiterated the Morcha’s commitment to empowering women workers through continuous engagement, training and leadership opportunities, adding that ongoing training initiatives would enhance members’ understanding of the party’s ideology and improve their effectiveness in public service.
