RAJOURI, Mar 21: At least seven persons were injured when three vehicles including a truck, collided near a Tunnel in Nowshera area of district Rajouri this evening.
Reports said a road accident occurred near Nowshera Tunnel when a truck bearing registration number JK01AS-6691, reportedly being driven rashly and in negligent manner, collided with two vehicles coming from the opposite direction, including an Alto K-10 (JK02C-9450) and an Eeco (JK11E-4885).
In the incident, seven persons sustained injuries. They were identified as Mohd Irshad Khan (35), son of Abdul Jabar Khan, resident of Manjakote; Abdul Jabar Khan (65) , son of Noor Din Khan, from Manjakote; Khadam Hussain (40), son of Ghulam Hussain from Rajal, Nowshera; Nageena Koser (30), wife of Khadam Hussain, from Rajal; Saeed Ali (8), Noor Hussain, resident of Jammu; Mohd. Younus-driver (45), son of Ghulam Hussain, resident of Rajal, Nowshera, and Sonia Koser (10), daughter of Mohd Younus, from Rajal.
All the injured were immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital Nowshera for initial treatment and later referred to Government Medical College Jammu for advanced medical care.
