KOCHI, Mar 21: A Malayali man, hailing from Thiruvananthapuram, was found dead in Tel Aviv, Israel, where he had been working in the construction sector.
The deceased, identified as Suresh Sundaresan (42), was a native of Kallambalam and had been employed in Israel for the past two years.
His death was reported to his family by members of the Malayali community in Israel.
The exact cause of death has not yet been established.
According to relatives, Suresh had recently shared concerns about the tense situation in the region.
In a voice message sent shortly before his death, he mentioned nearby bombardments and said he was going out to buy essential items.
Suresh is survived by his wife, who is currently in Kuwait, and their two children.
Authorities and Indian mission officials are expected to take further steps to ascertain the circumstances surrounding his death and facilitate necessary procedures.
