Samooh stages play ‘Bholaram Da Jeev’

JAMMU, Mar 21: Theatre group ‘Samooh’ here today staged play ‘Bholaram Da Jeev’ written by eminent Hindi litterateur Harishankar Parsai and adapted into Dogri by Dr. Sudhir Mahajan.
The play was performed by senior and seasoned actor, Rajinder Kumar Narang and it reflects the pain, helplessness and frustration of the common citizen, while also raising critical questions about functioning of the system.
A handout stated that this presentation aims not only to entertain but also to provoke serious reflection on the social and administrative structures that continues to burden the weaker sections of the society.
Theatre lovers, writers, Arun Sharma assisted in the play and Aman Verma did the stage management while Shaleen Mahajan arranged the property.
Dr. Sudhir Mahajan Directed the play.
Students and art enthusiasts witnessed the presentation in large number. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion were Dr. Kamal Sharma, Yash Pal Yash, Rajdev Singh and Rajesh Gupta.
