RAJOURI, Mar 22: At least six members of a family including three children, were injured in a road accident in Darhal area of district Rajouri today.
Reports said the mishap took place this afternoon when the car bearing registration number JK-11J/2200 was on way to Rajouri from Darhal. The driver lost control over the vehicle on the hilly road and it rolled down into the Nallah along the road.
The injured have been identified as Ghulam Fatima (62), wife of Mohd Shafiq; Nageena Kousar (30), wife of Mohd Ayoob; Balal Hussain (6), son of Mohd Yaqoob; Sadim (7), son of Mohd Ayoob; Abida (6 months), daughter of Mohd Ayoob; and Mohd Ayoob (30), son of Mohd Shafiq. All the injured are residents of Prori Galla.
Soon after the incident the police reached the spot and they shifted all the injured to Government Medical College (GMC) Rajouri, where they are currently under treatment.
The police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
