UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: Shiv Shakti Lok Sewa Sangthan organized a religious and social programme with a special focus on distributing cheques under the Sukanya Yojana to orphan girls, aiming to support their education and ensure financial security for their future.
The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by formal proceedings. Retired Principal District and Sessions Judge Virender Singh Bhau attended the programme as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Bahu emphasized the importance of extending support to underprivileged children, particularly girls, through meaningful financial assistance. He, along with other dignitaries, distributed cheques among the beneficiaries.
Among those present were State president Dr Pardeep Mahajan, Ashwani Gupta, Sanjeev Anthal, Kuldeep Raj (organiser), Advocate Balwan Singh (spokesman and legal advisor), Vivek Anand, Suriender Kumar, Ranjit Kumar, and Parkash Anthal.
Chairman of Captain Tushar Memorial Trust, Dev Raj Gupta, along with senior member Ranjit Parihar, also graced the occasion. A large number of advocates and local residents attended the programme and extended their support to the initiative.
The event concluded with a message of empowerment and encouragement for the girls to pursue a secure and bright future.
