UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: Udhampur Police foiled a bovine smuggling attempt at Tikri and rescued 13 bovine animals.
A police team of PP Tikri, while performing naka checking duty, intercepted a Truck bearing registration number JK12D-3969. Upon checking, the vehicle was found transporting 13 bovines without any valid permission.
In this regard, FIR No. 60/2026 U/S 223 BNS and 11 PCA Act has been registered at the Police Station Rehambal and further investigation is underway.
