Nagrota, Mar 26: Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, today chaired a high-level security review and coordination meeting at Nagrota.
The meeting was attended by key stakeholders and representatives from various Joint Control Centres (JCCs), who provided comprehensive updates on the prevailing security situation.
During the meeting, the Army Commander reviewed the operational preparedness and coordination mechanisms among different security agencies. He stressed the critical importance of enhanced inter-agency synergy, real-time intelligence sharing, and seamless execution of joint operations.
Lt Gen Sharma further underscored the need to maintain a robust, responsive, and dynamic counter-terrorism grid to effectively tackle emerging security challenges in the region. He reiterated that continuous coordination and proactive measures remain essential to ensure peace and stability.
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment from all agencies to strengthen collaboration and uphold the highest standards of operational readiness.
