Udhampur, Mar 31: Seven people sustained injuries today after a passenger auto bearing registration number JK14G/2923 met with an accident at Kallaser Morh, Chenani.
Officials said, five of the injured were referred to Government Medical College (GMC) Udhampur for further treatment.
The details of those referred are 16-year-old, resident of Gharian Kallan. 26-year-old, resident of Nagulta. 90-year-old, resident of Kallaser, 66-year-old, resident of Kallaser, 35-year-old, resident of Kallaser.
Two other passengers, Soni Devi, 17, and Shavli Devi, 19, sustained minor injuries and received on-spot treatment, official said.
Police and local authorities rushed to the site to provide immediate assistance, and the condition of the referred patients is reported to be stable. Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. (KNC)
