JAMMU, Mar 30: The Shri Ram Universal School Jammu celebrated a proud literary achievement as novellas written by its young students were formally launched during a special ceremony on campus. The event marked a significant milestone in encouraging creative expression among budding writers.
The programme was graced by chief guest Prof Vandana Sharma, Dean, School of Languages and Director, Directorate of Physical Education, Central University of Jammu. The guest of honour, Surinder Kumar Balgotra, ZEO Vijaypur also added prestige to the occasion with his presence.
The young authors showcased their creativity through their published works, which included: Shivani by Reet Randhawa (Form 6), The Cyber Crime by Nirbhay Sambyal (Form 6), Pink Sandals by Aaradhya Choudhary (Form 6) and An Old Nightmare by Aadish Binaloch (Form 8). The e-book versions of these titles were also officially launched, marking a step towards embracing digital readership.
Chairman Sanjeev Gupta, Director Rajni Gupta, Principal Sonika Mahajan and Headmistress Shivani Vaid attended the event, along with proud parents. The initiative, driven by the school’s Writers’ Club, highlights its commitment to nurturing creativity and holistic development.
